Canvases in the Classic range do not include the pro-stretchers like in the Professional range but instead include wood keys to allow you to further adjust the tension of your canvas. The Winsor & Newton Classic Cotton Deep-Edge canvas is hand-stretched, acid-free, and archival quality primed with highly pigmented titanium dioxide gesso for excellent coverage. The frames are professionally constructed from kiln-dried solid Fir and Paulownia wood.
The canvas is stapled at the back with folded uncut corners for a professional finish to allow artwork to be produced on all 4 edges of the canvas.
